Just Finished reading The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins. A bit late on the bandwagon but boy oh boy was it good!
I’m not doing a full review on this, because I don’t think there’s any need, the whole series speaks for itself now, but I’ve given it a lovely shiny 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 on Goodreads, because it was so freaking great! Fast paced, exciting, filled with endless suspense, I couldn’t put it down.
Before I read Catching Fire, I wanted to read something in between, so I went to my little lucky dip TBR jar, and out came….
RED QUEEN by Victoria Aveyard!!!
I’m soooo excited, can’t wait to get stuck in. There’s so much hype surrounding this book at the moment, and what with the new release of Glass Sword – I hope it lives up to expectations.

I’m definitely already spotting similarities in the writing of Red Queen to The Hunger Games, can wait to get further into the story!
