February 2018 TBR

Happy February, people!

My oh my is this year flying by already…

But another month means another lot of books to be read, and I’m really hoping to stay on track with my reading goals! Goodreads is telling me that I’m already 1 book behind schedule. Which is why for this month, especially as it’s the shorter of the months, I’ve decided to choose books that I know I’ll be able to read quickly.

My February TBR:

Shadowsong by S. Jae-Jones

I finished Wintersong at the end of last month, and it left me needing more! So my copy is being picked up today, which is why it isn’t included in my photo, and I’ll be diving in straight away to find out what happens to Elisabeth and The Goblin King!

Under Rose Tainted Skies by Louise Gornall

This has been on my book shelves for quite some time now, so it’s about time I got around to reading it! I also haven’t read any contemporary in a while, so I’m kind of feeling it this month.

I Am Thunder by Muhammad Khan

I was sent a review copy of this book in December, and I’ve heard nothing but amazing things about it. I have a feeling this one’s going to be very powerful…

The Bear and The Nightingale by Katherine Arden

Another one that’s been on my shelves for a year! Now that The Girl in The Tower has been released, it’s definitely time for me to read this. My colleague at work has highly recommended it to me, and hopefully I’ll love it as I plan on reading the sequel straight after!

The Language of Thorns by Leigh Bardugo

This one is being carried over from last month as I’ve just been dipping in and out of this. I always struggle to read a collection of short stories in one go, so I’m spreading them out in between regular reading. I’m already about 30% through though, so I should have it finished early on.
